Little Miss Lori Classroom Series: PK-2
“Little Miss Lori; adventures in five year old living” is the brainchild of National Family Entertainer Miss Lori. Although the series is yet to be published your classroom can enjoy it today. Miss Lori has a created a classroom illustration workshop that is as inspiring as it is informative. For the workshop Miss Lori herself will come to your classroom and read one of her delightful stories and then she will put your students to work. After listening to the story each child will receive a story page. Their challenge will be to illustrate that particular section of the story, bringing to life the adventurous character of Little Miss Lori. While they are creating Miss Lori will ask them questions encouraging them to dig deeper into their imaginations and create outside the box. When they are through Miss Lori will gather all of the story sheets and take them with her. Every student that turns in a completed story page will receive an autographed postcard from Miss Lori. The book your students create will be bound, autographed with a personal message from Miss Lori, and sent back to your school within 3 weeks so that your class can savor their accomplishment for years to come.
Series Synopsis:
The “Little Miss Lori; adventures in five year old living” series is the journey of Little Miss Lori as she views the world from 45 inches above ground. The series shares Little Miss Lori’s relationships with various friends and family members and how her interactions and activities differ with each, and all the richness they bring to the areas of learning in her life. Each book also contains a bonus word to expand the vocabulary of the reader. The definition and pronunciation of the bonus word are included at the beginning of each story.
Just as Miss Lori does with the programs that she creates for her company her mission with the series is to help children develop an emotional vocabulary, physicalize their imaginations, and explore their sense of wonder. As a result, like Arthur before her did for age 8, Little Miss Lori could become the poster child for being 5, with the extra special benefit that she is a human being instead of an animal. This fact makes her experiences all the more real, relevant, and relatable.

My name is Lori, but you can call me Little Miss. Everybody does on account my Mommy’s name is Lori too. I am five years old and my life is an adventure. Really it is. Mommy says that everyday is an adventure of learning. Today I want to tell you a story about something that I learned last week when I was frustrated. FRUSTRATED. Do you ever get frustrated? I don’t like it very much, but my Mom always knows what to do.
