Synopsis:

The Miss Lori's CAMPUS Playstory Time event acquaints children with the ABCs of stories in support of early childhood literacy. The Playstory Time Event was created by National Family Entertainer Miss Lori and is chock full of her infectious and informative award winning original songs, and her stories. Known for creating songs filled with music to groove to and lyrics to grow on, Miss Lori's interactive theatrical performances fully engage audiences, helping them internalize lessons while having loads of fun. Playstory Time events have been the exclusive center piece of the highly successful WTTW Readers are Leaders tours.

Breakdown:

The Playstory Time Events are perfect for facilities where children have the opportunity
to fully engage in the program in a moderately intimate setting. The events include
original songs, story-building games, question and answer engagement, and audience
volunteer participation. Children will step into the world of Playstory Time guided by the
ever engaging Miss Lori, and come out the other side with a greater appreciation and
understanding of story sharing. The events are available in 3 different format lengths,
(30, 45 and 60 minutes), that can include some or all of the following...

These events are targeted for children ages 2-7 and their parents.

Cast:

The event is performed by Miss Lori herself.
Production Requirements:
The Tour travels with a self contained backdrop banner, headset mic, minimal props,
merchandise and promotional handouts. The tour can travel with a PA system for an
additional fee, otherwise it requires a sound system with a CD player and 1 mic jacks, A
table for merchandise sales and a play space of at least 10 x 6.
